About 3P Logistics
3PL, the trading name of 3P Logistics Limited, is a UK fulfilment company for direct-to-consumer and multi-channel brands.
It has been fulfilling orders since 2006 and runs two fulfilment centres in Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Wigan, on its own warehouse platform, 3PL Fusion.
Brands store their stock with 3PL, which ships their orders to customers in more than 190 countries and also handles returns, kitting and retail orders.

Your own stock, 3PL and other suppliers in one webshop
Most growing brands don't keep everything in one place. Part of the range sits at 3PL, some products still ship from your own stockroom and others come straight from a supplier. Your customer sees one webshop and places one order, and nobody on your team has to work out who ships what. Dropday checks every order line against your rules, stores the matching supplier on each line and splits the order, so 3PL receives only the products it stores, with the same products and quantities your customer ordered.
Take an illustrative order with two bottles of face serum stored at 3PL and a candle that another supplier drop ships. 3PL receives one order with the two serums, and the candle goes to its own supplier in a message of its own.
More orders, not more order entry
When an order comes in, Dropday sends the 3PL lines to 3PL Fusion with your customer's name and delivery address, ready for the warehouse to pick. Nobody copies orders into the 3PL portal, so a busy week or a promotion adds orders for the warehouse, not hours of typing for your team.
Stock you don't have to maintain
The stock of the products you store at 3PL follows what 3PL Fusion reports, so your webshop shows what the warehouse can ship, without stock files or manual corrections. Products you ship yourself or buy from other suppliers keep their own stock. Dropday sets this up for you.
Your shipments in view
When 3PL ships, Dropday brings the carrier's tracking back to the original webshop order. You follow your 3PL shipments in the same place as the rest of your orders, instead of looking them up in the 3PL portal or asking the warehouse.
How you get started
You connect Shopify or another supported webshop, share your 3PL Fusion API key and tell Dropday which products 3PL stores for you. Dropday sets up the orders, stock updates and tracking, and tests them with you before your first real order goes to 3PL.
How the 3PL Fusion connection works
Dropday sends each 3PL order straight to the 3PL Fusion API and reads 3PL's response to see whether the order was accepted.
3PL documents a REST API for 3PL Fusion that is authenticated with the customer's own API key.
An order names each product by the SKU 3PL holds for it, with a quantity and a value, together with the delivery address and the delivery service.
The API reports each order's status and, once it ships, the carrier, tracking number and tracking link, and it gives the stock per SKU.

Do I need to be a 3PL customer?

Can I keep shipping some products myself?
Yes. Only the products you store at 3PL go to the warehouse, and your rules decide where every other order line goes, whether that is your own stockroom or a drop shipping supplier.
What happens when my order volume grows?
