Route orders from your webshop
How Order Routing works
You set the rules once. Every new order then follows them, without anyone sorting products by hand.
1
An order comes in
A customer orders several products in your webshop. The order arrives in Dropday with all its order lines.
2
Your rules decide
Dropday checks your rules in the order you set. For each product, the first rule that matches picks the party that handles it.
3
Each party gets its own order
Every supplier, warehouse or partner receives only its own products. Products that match no rule are not sent.

Where Order Routing helps
Three common examples. Your own rules decide which parties are involved and which products each of them gets.
Example 1
One order, several suppliers
A customer buys a chair, a lamp and a rug that come from three different suppliers. Each supplier receives an order with only its own product.
Office chair
Supplier A
Desk lamp
Supplier B
Rug
Supplier C
Example 2
Your own stock next to dropshipping
You ship part of your range from your own stock and dropship the rest. Products without a dropship rule stay with you; Dropday only sends the dropship products to your supplier.

Example 3
A supplier and a fulfilment partner
Bulky items ship straight from the supplier, while fast movers ship from the stock your fulfilment partner holds. Each party gets its own order through the connection it already uses.

Connect with your suppliers
Your rules choose which party gets each product. Each party then receives its order the way it already works: by email, through its API, as an EDI message or file, or in the Supplier Portal.

Works well with Order Routing
Routing decides who gets each product. These features help you control what happens next.

Frequently asked questions
Can one order go to several suppliers?
Yes. Dropday splits the order by product, so each supplier, warehouse or partner receives only the products it handles.
How does Dropday decide where a product goes?
Through your rules. Dropday checks them in the order you set, and the first rule that matches a product decides who receives it.
Can I keep some products out of supplier orders?
Yes. Products that match no rule are not sent to anyone, so you can ship them from your own stock.
Can I change my rules later?
Yes. You can add, change and reorder your rules at any time. New orders follow the updated rules.
Can each party receive orders in its own way?
Yes. You choose the connection per party: email, API, EDI order files or FTP/SFTP. One party can also use more than one.
