Your S&S range in your webshop

You decide which part of the S&S Activewear range you sell: a handful of styles, one brand or a wider selection. Dropday imports those products into your webshop with their colours and sizes as variants, and adds new styles when you extend your selection. Products you already sell from S&S can stay as they are: Dropday links each existing variant to its S&S product instead of creating a duplicate.

Each colour-and-size combination has its own S&S identifier.

Dropday matches each S&S identifier to the corresponding variant in your webshop, so it knows which S&S product is your black T-shirt in size M. The stock of each variant follows the stock S&S reports for that product, and the same link tells S&S exactly what to ship when the variant is ordered.

A mixed order, for example

In this illustrative order, a customer buys two black T-shirts in size M and one in size L from your S&S range, plus a mug that another supplier ships.

Dropday splits the order with your rules and stores the matching supplier on each order line. S&S receives one order with only its own products: two T-shirts in size M and one in size L. The mug goes to its own supplier.

When S&S ships the T-shirts, shipment tracking appears on the original webshop order, so you can follow delivery without searching through supplier emails.

How you start

You connect Shopify or another supported webshop, share your S&S account number and API key and choose the products you want to sell. Dropday sets up the import, stock, orders and tracking, and tests them before your first real order goes to S&S.

How the S&S API connection works

Dropday sends each S&S order as an API call and reads the response to see whether S&S accepted the order.

S&S Activewear documents a REST API with HTTP Basic Auth: the account number is the user name and the API key is the password.

Each order line names one S&S product by its SKU, GTIN or SKU ID, with a quantity, and S&S reports any line it cannot fill in its response.
