Connect Shopware
Install the Dropday plugin for Shopware, connect it to your Dropday account, and create a flow in Shopware's Flow Builder that sends orders to Dropday.
Install the plugin
In the Dropday dashboard sidebar, click Store Integration, then Shopware. That page links to the plugin on GitHub.
Install the plugin in Shopware.
Connect your account
On the Shopware page under Store Integration, copy your API key from the setup steps.
Copy your Account ID as well. It's in the setup steps of the WooCommerce page under Store Integration, with a copy button, and it's the same on every platform page.
In the Shopware admin, go to Settings > System > Plugins > Dropday.
Enter the Account ID in Account ID and the API key in API key. Leave API base URL as it is: it's already filled in, and you only change it when Dropday support asks you to.
You can set these details for all sales channels, or override them for one sales channel.
Create the flow that sends orders
The plugin doesn't add a flow of its own. Until you create one, Shopware sends no orders to Dropday.
In Shopware, go to Settings > Shop > Flow Builder and create a flow on the event that should send an order, for example when an order is paid.
Add the action Send order to Dropday to the flow.
The plugin's README on GitHub describes this setup and gives two commonly used triggers: Order transaction state changed → Paid and Order state changed → Done.
When orders reach Dropday
An order is sent when the event of your flow happens, so how quickly it reaches Dropday depends on that event.
To send an order again, make that event happen again, for example with a status change if your flow reacts to it. An order that reaches the state your flow reacts to is also sent when it was placed before you connected the store. Dropday refuses an order it already has.
Test, then go live
Live mode starts off. While it's off, the plugin still sends orders, but Dropday treats them as test orders. Test orders are still emailed to suppliers, with "TEST EMAIL:" at the start of the subject. FTP Upload and API Call don't place test orders at the supplier.
To go live, turn on Live mode in the plugin's settings.
Orders are also processed as test orders while your account's billing details are incomplete. Test your setup before going live explains how to check what your suppliers receive.
Check that orders come in
After an order in your store triggers your flow, open Orders in Dropday and check that the order is in the list.
Next, add a supplier.
