Add a supplier
Add a supplier and choose how to send its orders: by email, as a file on the supplier's server, through its API, or in the Dropday Supplier Portal.
In the sidebar, click Suppliers, then New supplier.
Enter the supplier's name (the only required field) and save.
Click Add action, choose a delivery method, fill in its settings and save.
Choose a delivery method
Send Email: enter the supplier's email address. You can preview the email.
FTP Upload: choose FTP, FTPS or SFTP and enter the supplier's server details. You can test the connection, and Dropday shows the IP addresses your supplier may need to allow.
API Call: enter the method, URL, headers and body of the request to the supplier's API, and test it from the settings.
Add to Supplier Portal: the supplier finds its orders in the Supplier Portal. This only counts as sent once the supplier has a portal account, so invite the supplier from its page.
You can add more than one delivery method; Dropday uses every active one.
Approve orders before they're sent (optional)
To check this supplier's orders yourself first, turn on Hold order for review.
Result
Once a rule assigns order lines to this supplier, Dropday sends them through each active delivery method when the order comes in, unless you turned on Hold order for review. A supplier without an active delivery method receives nothing.
Next, create a rule that assigns order lines to this supplier.
