Packing slips

Add a packing slip to the order email your supplier receives. Dropday creates the packing slip as a PDF from your settings, and you choose what's on it and its language.

Set up your packing slip

  1. In the sidebar, under Preferences, open the Packing Slip screen. These settings apply to your whole account, not to one supplier's email.

  2. Choose the language: English, Dutch, French, German or Spanish.

  3. Add your logo.

  4. Check the preview.

Change what's on the packing slip

In the packing slip settings, you can also:

  • add extra fields and order-line properties;

  • add a footer text;

  • change the wording of each text on the packing slip;

  • set the file name of the PDF.

Attach it to a supplier's email

In the supplier's Send Email action, under Attachments, click Add file and choose the row ending in Packing slip. For each supplier's email, you only choose whether to attach it.

An email can carry up to five attachments, each a packing slip or one of your order files.

What you can't change

  • You can't send your own packing slip, such as one from your webshop, instead of Dropday's.

  • The date is always shown as yyyy-mm-dd.

  • The country name is always in English, also on a packing slip in another language.

  • The address is shown in the form that is usual in the destination country.

Next, send a test order to see the email your supplier receives: test orders are emailed too, with "TEST EMAIL:" at the start of the subject.
