Payments and invoices
Start your subscription from the Billing screen and pay through Stripe. Your invoices and payment method are in the Stripe billing portal, which you open from the same screen.
Start your subscription
You need to be the account's Owner or an Admin.
In the sidebar, under Workspace, open Billing.
Click Start subscription. After your trial has ended, the screen says "Your trial has expired. Activate your plan." and the button is Subscribe now.
Pay in Stripe Checkout, which opens. You can use the payment methods that Checkout offers; Dropday has no payment method choice of its own.
After you pay, you're back on Billing, and your subscription renews automatically.
If you subscribe during your trial, your trial still runs to the same end date and billing starts after it. After the trial has ended, Subscribe now starts billing straight away.
Find your invoices and update your payment method
Dropday doesn't list your invoices itself. Once you have a subscription, click Manage subscription and billing details on Billing to open the Stripe billing portal. Your invoices and payment method are there.
If your last payment failed, the same link is labeled Update payment method. While Stripe is still retrying the payment, your orders keep being processed.
The name and address on your invoices are the billing details you save in the Stripe billing portal. Company Details in Dropday is used for packing slips and supplier emails, not for your invoices. Complete your company details explains that screen.
Billed through Shopify
An account billed through Shopify has no Billing item in the sidebar and no separate Dropday subscription. You pay for it in Shopify.
Later, you can update your payment details or cancel your subscription in the same billing portal.
