Subscription, trial and blocked orders
Keep your account active with a trial, a subscription or billing through Shopify. An order that arrives while your account has none of these is blocked: Dropday keeps it, but doesn't send it to your suppliers.
Trial and subscription
When you create your account, you get a 14-day trial, without a credit card.
Unless your account is billed through Shopify, you pay for Dropday with a subscription through Stripe. Make sure it is active when your trial ends.
You start it on Billing, in the sidebar under Workspace: during the trial, that screen shows your trial end date and a Start subscription button. If you start it during the trial, your trial still runs to the same end date and the subscription continues automatically after it.
Payments and invoices walks you through paying.
Billed through Shopify
If you created your account by installing the Dropday app in Shopify, your account is billed through Shopify and doesn't get the Dropday trial. You don't have a separate Dropday subscription: you change or cancel the charge in Shopify.
Orders that arrive while your account isn't active
When an order arrives while your account has no active subscription or trial and isn't billed through Shopify, Dropday stores it as blocked. A blocked order doesn't go through your rules and isn't sent to your suppliers.
The order then says "This order was received while your subscription was inactive.", and a banner says orders aren't processed until billing is set up.
Process a blocked order
Once your account is paying again, open each blocked order and click Process order. The button only appears on orders that arrived while your subscription was inactive. While your account isn't paying, you can't process them.
Dropday then applies your rules to the order again.
If an order line still isn't sent, An order line was not sent to a supplier explains why.
