Use the Supplier Portal as a supplier or 3PL

As a supplier or fulfilment partner, get access to Dropday's Supplier Portal, find the orders merchants send you, export them as a CSV file and give colleagues access.

In the Supplier Portal you see, in one place, the orders that merchants send you through Dropday, from every merchant you work with, and you mark them as shipped.

The portal lists every order a merchant has sent you, whether it went by email, as a file or as an API call. Receive orders as a supplier or 3PL explains how orders reach you.

Get access

With an invitation from a merchant. Open the link in the invitation email and create a login, or log in if you already have one. If your company doesn't have a portal account yet, the first person to accept becomes its owner. An invitation is valid for 14 days; if it has expired, the merchant can send it again.

From an order email. On the order page you open from the link in an order email, click Get access and sign up. Dropday creates a portal account for your company, with you as its owner, and connects it to you as that merchant's supplier.

If you already own a portal account and are logged in, Dropday connects you as that merchant's supplier to your existing account instead. When you're logged in and already have access for that merchant, the order page shows Open in Portal instead of Get access.

Find your orders

  1. Log in with the Log in button on the Dropday website, on the same page as merchants. If your login only belongs to a supplier account, Dropday opens the Supplier Portal. If you also work in a merchant account, switch to the portal from the menu.

  2. Choose the Orders tab to see whole orders, or the Order lines tab to see the order lines.

  3. Filter the list on the merchant, on open or shipped, on the order ID or on the date the order was sent to you. You can save a filter for your whole portal account.

  4. Open an order to see its details. Dropday records the first time you open it.

An order that didn't go out, because the send failed or the merchant still holds it for review, isn't in the list.

Each merchant decides which order line details you see, such as quantity, name, reference and purchase price.

Export orders as a CSV file

On the Orders tab or the Order lines tab, click Export CSV to download the list as a CSV file. Both have the order ID, the order date and the shipping address; the orders file lists the products, and the order lines file has the product and its quantity. Set the filters before you export: the file includes only what they show.

Your merchants and your team

The portal shows the merchants your portal account is linked to.

The owner of the portal account manages the company name and the team, under Workspace:

  • Company name: open Company details, change Company name and click Save.

  • Invite a colleague: open Team, fill in Email address under Invite a colleague and click Send invitation. The invitation is valid for 7 days.

  • Remove a colleague: on Team, click Remove on their row and confirm.

Once you've shipped an order, mark it as shipped and add the tracking.
